Mercedes Coyle 
Production Designer
Mercedes Coyle is a Hungarian-Canadian production designer recognized for her Work in feature films, television and Commercials.
Her most notable project is “Undertone” (dir. Ian Tuason, 2026), which was acquired by A24 to screen at the 2026 Sundance Film Festival and is slated for a wide theatrical release on March 13.
Other prominent credits include "Don’t Even" (Season 1, CRAVE, 2024), "Suze" (2023) starring Michaela Watkins, and "The Family" (2022), which premiered at the Busan International Film Festival. She has also designed multiple digital series for CBC Gem, including Bit Playas, which received a 2021 Canadian Screen Award for Best Web Series.
An active member of the Directors Guild of Canada, Mercedes recently gave a talk titled Far From Home: Remote Design Challenges, outlining her experiences designing Polaris (2023), shot in the remote Yukon Territory.
She is eligible to work in both Canada and the European Union.
